As a university professor, I can't seem to stop thinking about teaching methods and pedagogy. I've built up skills to effectively impart knowledge. But the culture around teaching and learning is changing... quickly! Every student has potential to succeed, and it's my responsibility to create a supportive, culturally responsive learning environment that encourages all students toward exploration and growth. Critical thinking is the top goal in this interactive process. But what are the methods? What is the style? How should I direct and focus instruction in a constantly shifting landscape of culture, knowledge, skillsets, and technology?
