Photography: Amphibian Portraits

My field work follows frogs, toads, and salamanders through rainy roadside ditches in my hometown and isolated river shallows in Central American rainforests. Shot low and close with diffused light, my photography keeps ecological impact minimal in pursuit of one goal: inviting viewers to an experience of EMPATHY.
